President's Note

As someone whose extended family lives in Wuhan, whose cousin works as a nurse in Wuhan and has braved her way through the mess of it all, this campaign means a lot to me personally; more than just a moral opportunity to show community service, it's also a way to indirectly thank my cousin.

YCC, as a community service organization, existing for over 15 years now, has always aimed to help in more than just community service; and that’s why we’re releasing this Meals for Health Heroes project. Being the president, giving the go-ahead to start this campaign also means bearing the weight of its potential failure; but it’s a risk that I’m willing to take, in both personal and professional reasons. I think it’ll prevail, but that comes with the help of everyone around me too.

I hope that everyone who comes across these posts about it realizes the utmost importance of uniting a community, helping others and subsequently themselves. At crucial times like these, it's critical that we set aside our differences and end this once and for all. of course, that starts with the smallest of actions; and a simple transaction is one of those.
