​The biggest volunteer event that YCC hosts every year is a trip to China! At the end of every summer, YCC members have the opportunity to travel back to the Chinese cities of Guangxi and Jiangxi to work with students who live there. For two weeks, those who sign up will get to experience the culture, education, and lifestyle of the children in rural parts of China, while also volunteering by teaching English and American culture to the students there.

Due to the pandemic in recent years, YCC has not been able to host the trip in person. However, volunteers still teach students in Guangxi and Jiangxi via Zoom every summer.
